Anaerobic Digestion of Wastes:

February 2017:  A Principal of 5Energies has joined with DVO, Inc. of Chilton, Wisconsin to market a state-of-the-art anaerobic digester to agricultural interests in California.  DVO's digester is the most proven system in the industry with over 120 digesters installed since 2001. Virtually all DVO digesters are in operation, thus providing a reliable track record of success.  While the focus is on the dairy industry, other organic wastes can also be digested.  Waste products, primarily manures, are converted into biomethane that is used as a renewable energy source for electricity, CHP, or transportation fuel.  

Biomass Project Development:

March 2015:  5Energies is pleased to announce that the company, in conjunction with our development partner, have sold development rights to a major biomass project in the US Southeast to a major worldwide wood pellet manufacturer and distributor.  This project will cost approximately $120 million to construct and will produce 400,000 metric tons per year of residential-grade renewable energy wood pellets for consumption in overseas markets. 

This project was conceived and originated by principals of 5Energies.  Tasks successfully concluded by 5Energies include long-term multi-year contracts for:

• Wood fiber supply
• Chipping and processing
• Site identification and lease negotiations
• All necessary permits and authorizations
• Rail transportation from the manufacturing facility to the port
• Port arrangements

Wind Energy Project Development:

January, 2015:   Principals of 5Energies project managed a team of engineers and logisticians to design and successfully permit a $60mm rail facility in southern Wyoming.  The rail facility will support construction and ongoing operations for what will be the largest wind energy facility in North America at 3GW.

Solar Energy Project Development:

 January, 2014:   A principal of 5Energies has entered into a development agreement  with a major solar energy project developer to assist in bringing utility and large commercial scale solar energy projects into production.

Biofuels Supply: 

May, 2011:  5Energies has entered into a project finance and product marketing agreement with a Pacific Northwest biofuels producer. This agreement allows 5Energies to market wood pellets and torrified biomass products worldwide.

 June, 2008:   We are pleased to announce our affiliation with Requejo Consulting and Banco Santander to conduct project identification and feasbility assessments for wind and solar energy projects as the bank expands into the western United States and Latin America.  Based in Spain, Banco Santander is one of the largest and most prestigious financial institutions in the world.  Through our relationship with Banco Santander, we are able to offer project financing for utility-scale wind and solar energy projects in the western United States.  Typical project sizes are 5MW and up.
